A Charles County native, Gabriel “Gabe” Gray started following his passion for music, singing and performance as a student in Maurice J. McDonough High School’s performing arts department. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Marshall University (MU) in Huntington, West Virginia. In addition to his degree work, Gabe was fortunate enough to perform and tour nationally and internationally with the MU Chamber Choir and Opera Workshop. Notable performance credits include his portrayal as one of the Two Men in Armor in the MU School of Music’s production of W.A. Mozart’s opera Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), and originating the character role of John Marshall in the MU School of Music and Theatre’s production of Traditions: The Rise of Marshall. Upon graduation, Gabe returned home where he accepted his current position with Charles County Public Schools as general music teacher and choral director at William A. Diggs Elementary School in Waldorf. Over the course of his teaching career, Gabe has also served as pit conductor for McDonough High School’s 2018 production of High School Musical: On Stage, assistant vocal music director for McDonough’s 2019 production of In the Heights, and as an assistant vocal music teacher for various Charles County Elementary and Middle School All-County Chorus groups. In addition to his work in the field of music education, Gabe performs frequently throughout the Southern Maryland region as a soloist, ensemble member and actor. He is a tenor vocalist in St. Maries Musica, a select adult choral ensemble under St. Maries Choral Arts. He has also appeared on the Port Tobacco Players stage in their 2019 summer production of Guys and Dolls. As an educator and performer, he specializes in both choral and solo singing in a variety of genres such as classical, musical theatre and contemporary a cappella music. Nicole Marinelli

Dance Instructor

Nicole started dancing at the age of 14. Throughout high school, she trained in multiple styles of dance at a local studio in Southern Maryland; her favorites being jazz and musical theater. She continued her dance career in college as a member of the Rutgers Performing Dance Company. During her senior year, she had the honor of being elected her sorority’s dance captain, choreographing a ten-minute long routine over the course of two months to be performed at a Greek-life competition. Currently, she spends her days as a marketing specialist for a credit union in Alexandria, VA, and is so excited to spend her nights being back in a studio and sharing her passion for dance with others!
